Abstract
This thesis introduces Seven chapters, preceded by the introduction and ending with the closure, which contained 103 tables,123 format,25 plates and 12 attachments.
Chapter I: It is under the title "City Environment".
Chapter II: "The emergence of Tahta and its historical and urban development".
Chapter III: "Population tahta town".
Chapter IV: "Land use tahta of town ".
Chapter V: "urban structure of the city of Tahta".
Chapter VI: "Regional of town ".
Chapter VII: urban planning of the city - problems and solutions.
Chapter VII: City Urban Planning – problems and Solutions "this chapter addressed the problems of the city, including a problem obtained from field survey and a problem obtained from the resolution, including problem problems, which included pollution problems resulting from Industrialization, the spread of workshops, internal transport density and irrigated congestion, as well as the problem of the inner division of the city which is one of the difficulties encountered the student during the study then suggested some solutions to reduce these problems and then came the urban planning role of the city which addressed several elements including the division The city's interior includes five sections, extending the town's boundaries so that it connects directly to the Nile, And another small industrial area near the large industrial zone, which organizes workshops and small factories.
Chapter IV: "Inner structure of the TOWN of TAHTA" This chapter examines the city through two axes, the first axis the functional composition of the city which included the study of land uses and knowledge of the proportion of each use which came residential use in the first order where it came with 520 acres, followed by Commercial use of 75 acres then educational use came 35 acres of recreational use in the last order, the second axis, through which the study city which addressed the study of the numerical evolution of buildings and installations and the annual growth of these buildings and the relationship of this numerical evolution to population growth.
Chapter V: (Urban Structure of Tahta Town)This chapter deals with the characteristics of buildings in the city of Tahta,where the chapter was concerned with the characteristics of buildings in terms of numerical and relative distribution, densities, reconstruction and height of buildings, The 5 chapter dealt with the study and the basic buildings of the city from studying the network of streets and studying sewage networks, Good buildings accounted for 70٪ of the total building solutions, Building heights were studied in the city and the average height of the buildings was found to be no more than five floors and the buildings with large altitudes were scattered in the big streets such as Salah Salem, Port Said and northwest of the city, the city's facilities were also studied within this chapter and its streets where they reached the lengths The inner streets of the city are 309,2 acres or 1,3 km,The water, sanitation and natural gas system has been studied. Chapter VI: "City Region the fifth chapter dealt with the study of the spatial relations between the city and its territory and the extent of its functional influence through the use of several means to identify the influence of the city, These are the bases of communication as a basis for determining the functional influence of the town and the social relations, and economic relations and knowledge of the extent of the city's commercial influence by using my theory of "cutting and interacting degree" and using the frequency index to see and monitor the influence, then determine the territory in terms of the extension, the rate of 85٪ was taken as the basis for determining the extension of the territory, and finally the shape and limits were determined Lim. Chapter VIIchapter addressed the problems of the city, including a problem obtained from field survey and a problem obtained from the resolution, including problem problems, which included pollution problems resulting from Industrialization, the spread of workshops, internal transport density and irrigated congestion, as well as the problem of the inner division of the city, which is one of the difficulties encountered the student during the study then suggested some solutions to reduce these problems and then came the urban planning role of the city which addressed several elements including the division The city's interior includes five sections, extending the town's boundaries so that it connects directly to the Nile, And another small industrial area near the large industrial zone, which organizes workshops and small factories.
Finally, the conclusion of the thesis , which presented the most important results of the student and the city, was followed by the inclusion of proposals and recommendations to offer some solutions to contribute to solving the city's problems, which are detailed in the last chapter and which the student is hoping to take into consideration by Officials and administrators of the city's management and planning, and then include a list of Arabic and foreign references that have been used in the study.

Chapter I and geographical location of the city, where the town of Tahta is located at the intersection of a latitude (26° 43´ 3 ´´) north, and longitude (31 ° 28´ 48´´) east, also study the location of the city and the spatial relations that connects the city to its territory and the Republic also, and the city of Tahta distance between Cairo and Aswan, where Tahta from Cairo is 450 km away from Aswan 452 km, then it studies the soil and its impact on the urban expansion of the city which is located in the southwest corner of the center, so it does not mediate the center, and the study of the Central Engineering of the center found that Nag Massoud is the one which represents Central Engineering, the city is associated with four entrances, the northern, southern, eastern and western, and then studying water resources, climate and its components and how they affect the urban trends of the city.
Chapter II:- " The historical and urban development Tahta Town " This chapter deals with the study of the origins of the city and its historical and urban development since the Pharoanic era and became the base of Tahta Center in 1893 CE, and during these ages several names passed and received by the traveler, until its name became Tahta as stated in the dictionary "Ramzi " Established in 1829 CE, in the name of Tahta department, and made its seat A Tahta, whose circle of competence at the time, included several countries of the state of Gerga, so it belongs to the Directorate of Gerga before becoming a separate center, then came the urban development of the city, which has been traced since it was a small nucleus of not more than 79 acres until it reached 1103 acres of block area The building, the city's area of control is 13, 2 km2, and the study of the urbanization trends of the city the eastern trend was ranked first by (40%) of the total trends and then the northeast direction second, and the western trend came in the last place due to the existence of an obstacle limiting the expansion West is the high pressure lines, and down to the study of the city of Kerdon which reached (1232, 5 acres) The study of " in this chapter,Population of Tahta Town" -:
Chapter III the development of the population in the city of Tahta included twelve census periods in 120 years. Beginning of enumeration (1897/2017), the population of Tahta city was registered in the first of 1897 (17104 inhabitants), and this number increased to (120,756 inhabitants) during the last 2017 census, which represented a ratio of (45%) From the total center of Tahta and accounted for (11, 5%) of the total attended Sohag Governorate during the 2017 census, which included marital and educational status , the economic population of the city, the study of population groups found that the city of Tahta is a young city that rises to the youth category and then examines the future of the population and the number who will become the city's population and which requires a willingness to fill the population's need for services that are consistent with this increase and will become the future increase of the population.
Study of the components of population growth, which included the marital, educational and economic situation of the inhabitants of the city, and the study of the population groups found that the city of Tahta is a young city where the youth group rises and then study the future of the population and the number that the inhabitants of the city will become, which requires preparation to meet the needs of the population Services in line with this increase will become the future increase of the population (219000) in 2050 by imposing an average of 2%
Chapter IV : "Land Use Tahta Town" This chapter shows the study of the city by studying the uses of the land and knowing the percentage of each use which came the residential use in the first order where it came by (63%) with an area of 520 acres, followed by the educational use of 136 acres, and the recreational use came in the last order, and also studies the commercial, industrial, service, educational and agricultural use and introduces the percentage of each use of the area of the advanced mass.
