استخدام نظم المعلومات الجغرافية في تحديد أنسب المواقع لإقامة منشآت سياحية في مدينة أريحا - د. رائد الحلبي
الملخص:
هدفت هذه الدراسة التعرف إلى أنسب المواقع لإقامة منشآت سياحية في مدينة أريحا، حيث قام الباحث بتطبيق تحليل الملاءمة المكانية (Suitability Analysis) باستخدام برامج نظم المعلومات الجغرافية (GIS) الذي يعتبر من أهم تطبيقاتها في دعم القرار واتخاذه (Decision Support System )، ومن ثم قام بإجراء تحليل الإحصاء المكاني مستخدماً (Raster Calculator) الآلة الحاسبة الرقمية ضمن مجموعة من المعايير التي وضعها الباحث، وخرج في مجموعة من النتائج أهمها: وجود مواقع مكانية تحقق الشروط المطلوبة جميعها من قبل الباحث، حيث حصلت على أعلى درجة ملاءمة بناء على مجموعة المعايير، وتتوزع المناطق الملائمة لإقامة معالم سياحية داخل المدينة حسب درجة الانحدار في معظم أراضي المدينة، وتبين – أيضاً- أن الاستخدام السياحي يتركز في المدينة، وهناك حاجة لإنشاء مرافق وخدمات سياحية جديدة؛ لكي يصبح توزيع الخدمات والمرافق السياحية منتظماً، ويلبي حاجة سكان المدينة. وانتهت الدراسة بعدد من التوصيات والمقترحات التي يمكن أن يُفاد منها في تطوير الاستخدام السياحي داخل المدينة، منها، ضرورة إعادة تنظيم الخدمات السياحية داخل المدينة بما يسهم في حل مشكلة التركز، وبما يتناسب مع معايير الملاءمة المكانية ضمن النتائج التي توصلت لها الدراسة. إضافة إلى ضرورة العمل على استخدام تقنية نظم المعلومات الجغرافية (GIS) كتقنية مهمة في التخطيط الاستراتيجي للحد من التباين التنموي في المشاريع السياحية داخل المدينة من قبل صناع القرار والمختصين، وكذلك نوصي بضرورة وجود تنسيق متكامل بين القائمين على نهضة المدينة بغية الوصول إلى الأهداف المرجوَّة في أقصر الأوقات، وأفضل النهايات من حيث الجودة والإتقان.

Using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in Delineating the Most Suitable Sites for Establishing Touristic Facilities in the City of Jericho
ABSTRACT
This study aimed to recognize the most suitable locations for establishing touristic facilities in the city of Jericho. The researcher applied the Suitability Analysis by using the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) programs which is considered one of their most important applications in Decision Support System. Then the researcher carried out the analysis of the place statistics using Raster Calculator, the digital calculating machine within a group of criteria which the researcher set . He came out with a number of results the most important of which are: there are spatial locations which achieve all the required conditions by the researcher and which received the highest suitable degree based on a group of criteria whereby the suitable areas are distributed for establishing touristic facilities inside the city according to the degree of sloping in most of the lands of the city. It also indicated that the touristic use is concentrated in the city, and there is a need to establish new touristic facilities and services. This is in order that the distribution of the touristic services and facilities becomes systematic, and in order to meet the need of all the inhabitants of the city. The study was concluded with some recommendations and suggestions: It is hoped to benefit from developing the touristic use inside the city including: the necessity of reorganizing the touristic services inside the city in a way contributing in solving the concentration problem and which suits the criteria of spcial Suitability Analysis within the results which this study reached. Moreover, it recommended the necessity of working on using the technology of the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) as an important technology in strategic planning to limit the developmental variance in the touristic projects inside the city by the decision makers and the specialists. The study also recommends the necessity of an integrated coordination to upgrade and to develop the city.
